The 2021 Scholarship Was Awarded to Natalie DeLaCruz!
The 2021 scholarship was awarded to Natalie DeLaCruz, a 2021 graduate of Conard High School in West Hartford.
Congratulations, Natalie! Learn more about Natalie in her own words:
"Natalie DeLaCruz, a 2021 graduate of Conard High School, served as Student Council President and Conard's Herren Project Club President as well as National Youth Ambassador for the Herren Project. The Herren Project tackles issues of substance abuse and mental health, both of which she is highly passionate about. She was her town's Student Representative on the West Hartford Greater Together Community Fund Advisory Committee, a committee tasked with writing grants for local nonprofits. She graduated high school a year early, and thanks to the generosity of the Joseph family & the Hartford Foundation, she will be attending Northeastern University in the fall as a Political Science and Human Services major with a Spanish minor. She is looking forward to continuing her activism and running for office one day."
